These home improvements you should never try

Converting an electric stove to a gas stove presents a number of hazards, any one of which could prove fatal. In order to convert your stove, you will need to run gas lines & turn off the appropriate electrical circuits. You will need a permit.

If you want to increase the retail value of your home, you should think about doing some home improvements. Adding a few thousand $ to the final sale price can be accomplished with something as simple as repainting your front door.

But be careful! Even though it may seem counterintuitive, just because you own your home does not make you the undisputed ruler of it.

Therefore, exercise caution when planning projects for improving your home, especially if you intend to do the work yourself.

There are some projects that you are not allowed to complete on your own.

Doing so could result in death. This has been attempted in the past by unlicensed contractors & thrifty homeowners, which resulted in disastrous consequences.

Do not attempt to replace an electrical panel

Septic systems are not meant to be tampered with. It is possible to release human waste into a yard or the water supply in the area. Instead, you should shell out a few hundred dollars to hire a professional.

Do not attempt to pump or syphon a septic system on your own.

Because even one error could be catastrophic. Someone could be killed if your structure were to collapse.

You shouldn't build your deck

In some states, it is against the law to do so unless you have the appropriate certification. If you want to cut down large trees on your property, you should get in touch with the appropriate authorities or hire an arborist to ensure that the work is done correctly.

Do not cut down enormous trees

A sledgehammer or an axe won't do the trick when it comes to bringing down your walls. Some of them are holding up your roof. It's possible that your roof will cave in if you destroy even one of these sustaining walls.

Don't knock down any walls:
