Marvel Vs Marvel! Spider-Man: No Way Home Beats 'Avengers: Endgame' Record

Spider-Man: No Way Home delivered on every front in its trailer! I think it's safe to say that even fans went above and beyond in terms of expressing their love. We are all talking about the trailer since it was released on August 23 following its official debut at CinemaCona (and leaked), and everyone is talking about it. If you somehow missed the first glimpse (how? ), Benedict Cumberbatch portraying Dr Strange and a small time trick led to a slew of alternate timelines. With the red costume revealed, now everyone knows who's behind it. Peter Parker's situation is not looking good!

The man is even considered to be the nation's number one enemy. Doctor Strange is the one to help him resolve this conflict, which is why he seeks his help from him. However, they didn't anticipate other problems that might occur when they tamper with the multiverse, as Strange says. Problems include the return of the Doctor Octopus and the Green Goblin, amongst others. These are the ones we see! Other MCU characters fans are looking forward to include Lizard. The trailer sparked a plethora of memes and fan theories. From the scene where the sorcerer is weirded out by Parker calling him by name (but he will let it through) to the speculations about Doc Oc going 'Hello Peter!Probably looking at Tobey Maguire's Spidey (he wouldn't recognize Peter Parker from Tom Holland, would he? ), fans are going bananas!

It's no surprise, then, that the trailer has become a talk of the town for obvious reasons. It has indeed been viewed so many times that it has been watched countless numbers of times. Deadline reports that it has even broken another major Marvel movie, Avengers: Endgame. Despite the fact that the film won't release for months, the viewership has already surpassed the previous record. The film was watched over to a record of 355.5 million global views in its first 24 hours as opposed to 289 million views in Avengers: Endgame's first 24 hours. It's quite a challenge, that's for sure!

Aside from Holland and Zendaya, Jon Favreau, Jacob Batalon, and Marisa Tomei all reprise their roles from the previous Spider-Man movies. Director Jon Watts, and writers Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers are producing with Amy Pascal; executive producers are Louis D'Esposito, Victoria Alonso, JoAnn Perritano, Rachel O'Connor, Avi Arad, and Matt Tolmach.

Andrew Garfield had previously talked about those other Spider-Man cameos and said, "It's so crazy.". I think it's f**king hilarious, dude. My Twitter account is active and every once in a while Spider-Man is trending and people are freaking out. If I could speak to everyone and simply say, "Children, you should chill." It wasn't a yes, but neither is it a no. Here’s to hoping anyway!

Spider-Man: No Way Home is scheduled to release in cinemas on December 17.
